    Have never seen anything on here about it. Is it an omen I should stay away? Or a closely guarded secret? Am not picky about crappie or, bass.Would put in at new athens.

    Went over last week and there wasnt hardly any water in it. Its so full of asian carp its not funny.

    There's crappie down there, I haven't been this year under the assumption that the water levels are low. The entrances to the oxbows can get pretty shallow even when the river is at normal stage.
