Default My sisters first fishing trip

Well I know I dont comment or post alot of things mainly reports on bank fishing at rend. But I took my 13 yr old sister fishing for her first time and boy did she do good. She caught about a dozen crappie took all the fish off the hook heself and the whole nine yards. Well sunday it started storming about an hr after we started fishing so we headed to the car to ride it out. When we finally got a lil break in the rain we went back for about 10 mins of fishing before dark. She made 2 cast and the pole doubled over and the fight was on about 5 mins later and a good fight on 4 lbs test line and a ultra light she landed a 7 lbs catfish her first channel. You couldnt have beat the smile off her face and boy was I a happy big brother. I dont know who was more proud me or her. So today I bought her her own pink crappie pole and we are heading out tomorrow after i get off work tomorrow. I'll get a pic up in a few.

From one deerhunter to another, your a great big brother. I know when I take a newbie out hunting and they shot their first deer, I know that I couldn't be prouder. Good luck to you and your sis tomorrow.

Great story. Good job! A lot of youngsters don't know what they are missing. We need more of this.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
