I like to use 3/32 and 1/8 oz. most of the time but when the wind is blowing hard I go to a 1/4 oz. We make most of the jigs I use. The paint job on all our jigs is custom. If you have a favorite color you like we can match it for you. We will have a booth at the Arthur show. All the colors that we will be selling I use on Shelbyville lake. We will also have some Bandit lures with the colors I like to use in the summer time for trolling that work for crappie at a price you can't beat anywhere. I uploaded some pictures of some of the jigs I use the most on Shelbyville in the winter time on south end. Here is some info about the show. Stop by and take a look at what we have to offer and say hey and talk some fishin. Arthur Outdoor Expo Feb 24-25
Just an update on the show next weekend in Arthur. We have about 50 vendors registered for our first show. Archery, Firearms, Fishing, taxidermy, IDNR, decoys and lures, wildlfe art and a lot more. 3 speakers on Saturday beginning at 11am.
Exhibit hours 4-7pm of Friday 2/24 and 9am-5p on Saturday 2/25. Vendor space is still available.
Location is the Moultrie-Douglas Fair buildings, behind the Arthur High School on Rt 133 in Arthur.
Bring the family or a friend and come spend a day in Arthur.
More info, contacts and a list of vendors to date at Arthur Festivals

Thanks bowhunter...we will have some more colors to chose from and different sizes to. If we don't have the color you want we will have a book with every color known to man in it. We will custom mix it for you. If it color works, then you have your own custom color that you can show everybody but they won't know the formula. Don't carry the birdman special yet. I hope birdman will stop by and see us to talk some fishin.

A few years ago I had a plastic bag with about 20 different colored tubes in it. They all bled together creating something that was a combination of all the colors. They caught fish. Each one was a unique color, but those hungry crappie ate them up. That being said, I'd have to go with any light color with sparkles or chart. on it.
