i'm game, would not recommend Horseshoe lake in madison county unless you want small bait stealers, but Beaver Dam would be better, just remember to expect the unexpected when fishing, i have caught large mouth bass and catfish on a crappie rig

I noticed that a bunch of the other state boards get together for Crappie Camp. It seems like they just pick a lake maybe do a week or long weekend. I think they do campers and Hotels and tents. Share info and get together in the evenings for BBQ's and fish fry. I would get the info and set up the evenings and do the legwork if we had any interest. If interested just reply with a couple lakes and dates and if we get enough interest well just pick a place and time and rock n roll.
The fish you release may be a kids fish of a lifetime!

If it works with my work schedule, Id be all for it. Rend Lake would be a good, lots of camping or Shelbyville, or Carelyle. All Corps lakes with lots of camping, and lots of places to fish. If we do it at Shelbyville, I want Birdman in my boat.

i forgot about Shelbyville, and best of all, my boat was originally painted to match the water at Lake Shelbyville would be a very nice homecoming for the boat, and i can take someone in my boat with me as well(hate going out alone in a boat)
I am game. I vote for Shelbyville first, Rend second
if we do Lake Shelbyville, Eagle Creek would be an excellent meeting place with plenty of camping for tents and rv's, and has a resort that last i heard was opening back up in the spring some time
I am interested...Me and my buddies was talking about this today...I would vote for Rend or Shelbyville..

Rend or Shelbyville. Sounds like a great time! I've been to other states get togethers and they are something else. Lots of info traded and lots of good honest fun!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
Might as well start a poll for a place. Then work out the date. Im not familiar with any waters north of Shelbyville. Anyone got any suggestions for a poll?
