The place people fish most from bank is on the rocks along the dam and on the railroad bridge by Tovey. The bridge by Tovey used to have a lot of brush. I have not fished there for 3 years though. There spawn is probably over by now though.
Just moved to springfield area last year. I have always fished Lake Decatur and Shelbyville. Thinking about heading out to Sangchrist later this week. Lookin for some info or tips. Just gonna be fishing off the bank. Good place to start?

2 weeks ago bank fishermen were taking 5 gallon buckets of crappie off rr.bridge.was there in a boat again week later,no bank fisherman on rr. also not many crappie there either.
