Dude you could buy two bargain but quality rifles, think Marlin 30/30 with most of those and and a lot more with that 16 gauge. Treat yourself to a rifle, then sell a shotgun to pay for it. Me I'd reccomend one of the package deals from Savage in 30_06 or .308. They have the best out of the box accuracy out there and they're cheaper than Remington or the others. With either of those calibers you can shoot anything this side of a moose. And both are avaiable and relatively cheap.

I wouldn't deer hunt with those shotguns--those are fine shotguns and meant for birds

Yep, starting to figure that out! Looking at doing just that, selling one of the guns and getting a Savage .308 package and putting the rest of the money away for more toys

Thanks everyone for all the info. I don't think I truly understood the value of the guns at first. Thought they might have some...but didn't quite know. Will NOT be shooting slugs out of them for sure!

I just realized... the 12 gauge does have the ribbed barrel, and says made in Japan... BUT, I also have a 26" barrel for the light 12 A5 that is stamped Made in Belgium...does that help the value? The sixteen has a choke tube installed on the end, hope that doesn't hurt value too much
