    I heard a well known tournament fisherman fished all day Friday and left with zero crappie. With the forecasted warmer weather this week, the bite has to get a little better you would think. Can't get much worse, from all the reports. I got an idea. The first team to the weigh-in with a crappie wins!! Ha Ha!!

    Some well known tournament fisherman didn't fair so well on Talquin this weekend either. LOL That's fishin though.

    I'm not well know but went today and fished until 4PM. Fished the river channel, trees in 30 foot of water, channel in Sugar creek, and both bends in the river near the 44 bridge. I caught two crappie and both under the Sugar Creek bridge. Water temp 47 degrees in AM and did not get any better during the day. Winds were more than 5-10?? Most fish I saw on the TV were suspended.

    Still Snake bit.

    The local ranger said that the only fish that he had seen caught in the past two weeks were in the river.

    Warmer week this week.

    well I spoke with a fella that knows a fella that has fished oconee, he thinks! they both say leeches and squid are the ticket this week.

    They did not work either. The two I caught were on Crickets.
