    Thinking about going to Blackshear tomorrow with 2 grandsons. Thought I would teach them a little about fishing. I am planning to put in at Smoak Bridge, dont know much about the lake, Can anyone tell me where I might have the best luck. Any help would be appreciated. HarryD

    Harry just go out towards the dam find some deep water and the river channel and start fishing you should find some.I'll be there but not in that area.

    Ive had good luck there but it may be a bit early. look for deeper water no less than 25' titeline minnows 18' deep. most of the fish are on the riverchanel
