Glad you had a good day, I sent you a pm
Had a good day fishing sinclair with a friend. Kept 28 good crappie. Not many people on the lake. Cool early but it was real comfortable in the pm.

Thank you for the report Papa Dawg. I live on Sinclair and I have not made the time to go out and see if they will bite for me. With the weather staying warn it seems like they would be moving up into shallow water. I might go out in the kayak today and see if they are biting in my cove. I will be shooting docks and that is probably a total waste of time.
Papa Dawg. I am going to Sinclair Monday afternoon. Any tips or suggestions. I am thinking of drop shoting minnows either at Rocky Creek or Nancy Branch or Island Creek.
Nancy Branch was good about a week ago. Had some good luck in cold creek. I don't know what this weather wil do. I have never fished Island creek.
I'm hearing Cold Branch and Nancy's Branch were both still good in 10 to 15 feet of water this weekend, but they may move a little with the weather change this week.

We kept ten yesterday afternoon. . Pretty good fish for Sinclair. We only caught one longlining and the rest drop shoting minnows. The fish seemed to be scattered and not holding tight on the bottom. Nancy Branch and Island Creek area.
Anyone else out there got any reports on sinclair? I am thinking about going wednesday morning. Crooked Creek, Goat Island, Sandy Run, Little River, wherever? I was going to Talquin but backed out due to the high winds thursday and friday. Hope to reschedule next week as I was looking forward to going.
HunterofMooreCrappie did a Gon article Monday due out in Feb. at Crooked Creek and caught some good ones.
I fished the Island Creek area Tues afternoon. I caught about 20 in a couple of hours, only 10 keepers and that was stretching it (I was fish hungry:rolleyes. Caught them in 20-25 feet of water, dropshotting minnows about halfway up a cove. All were caught in a small area over some brushpiles. All those I kept and cleaned were males except the largest 1. She was full of immature eggs. Water temp was 54 degrees.
Keep the reports coming, cause I'm going back in 2 weeks.
