    Default Neat, a aluminum pole

saw something yesterday I never saw before in my life.
It was a 12ft all aluminum telescopic cane pole. Belong's to an older lady whose's husband owned it before he died.
That thing was so light it flat amazed me.
The eye on the end looked to be aluminum too and looked to be soldered on,not sure about that tho?
I couldnt find any type of writeing on it probably due to its age and use.
She said he had it for years and years, it was sitting there with one of those pull behind your boat fish scaler's.Those I think you can still buy today ?

I've never seen an aluminum fishing pole before. I have one of the Rockets though. Nice for fish too small to fillet.

I remember those collapseable aluminum poles from my youth. My folks had some for use when we went to FL for bream, shellcrackers and crappie 40 plus years ago. Hadn't thought about them in years, brought back some great memories. If I remember correctly, they were a medium green color and possibly a mustard yellow color.
