Enjoyed the video. I haven’t been able to fish yet this year so I can’t say what the situation with the spawn is. I usually did better in Feb and March on Oconee for crappie. The water looks clear compared to everything above 44.
Jim and I fished Lake Oconee yesterday. The water temperature was 66-67 degrees. The bite was steady all day. The fish we caught were caught at a depth of 6-15 feet. For the most part the fish were caught in extremely deep water in the river and creek channels. I think many fishermen are waiting for the fish to go shallow during the next full moon. Undoubtedly, some of the fish will spawn then. However, yesterday's fishing felt an awful lot like post spawn fishing. That is just my opinion. I hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching.
