    Default Oconee 3-9-19

Dangerous day on the pond, 2 bass tournaments out of sugar, a 200 boat group then a smaller group plus Skeeter tournament pre fishing at long shoals for Sunday tourney.
Didn't go down to ramp until 9am, parking lot was full almost back to our place.
I was afraid to fish in open water, went to creek and stayed, started in 17 FOW caught 1st fish before got all poles out, then the bite got real slow LOL. Worked all over creek Water was 54 start stayed til 6pm temp 60 in shallow water. Run 1/16th curly tails, no particular color mattered, finished with 27 decent, fish were few and scattered. No real biggie's mostly 11 to 12, smallest 10.5 biggest 13. Boat rule is 10 or better, No dinks at all.

Sounds like with all the commotion y'all still had a good day. If i fish a weekend on Oconee, it will be at night. Retired so I fish during the week.

If it is foggy, really dangerous!
