    Default Talquin Advice please

Coming down to Talquin in a couple of weeks. Need some advice on jig head size and color. plan on longline trolling. I was there several years ago and if I remember I was suprised at the depth to be a florida lake. Caught some big black crappie. Looking foward to getting back. Thanks for the help

Depending on weather, things will change. Most folks using 1/16's. Colors is a guessing game at times. You'll know more when U get there. Where U staying?

Usually we are running double 1/16’s unless they are deep in the channel then run a 1/8 and 1/16

I was down there Saturday, and pulled double 1/16 and single 1/8 oz jigs. Fish seemed to be in 16 to 20 ft of water.

When are you going down? My wife and I are planning on being there March 1 thru 5. We will be staying at Ingram’s.
