    Angry Fishin line?!?!

I hope everyone will weigh in on this one, cause we all use it! I got suckered into buyin some Wally Marshall camoflauge line the other day. It looked good and I liked the color theory behind it. In reality, it is the worst !#$# line I have ever used. It redefines line memory and can tie itself into a better not than I tie when I'm tryin! I am interested in what line everyone uses on their casting rods. I'm tired of dealin with junkie line, let me know what ya'll think.

You may have gotten a bad spool (which happens with all lines) but I have used the 6lbs test WM camo line and not had any problems. Actually thought it was stronger than 6lbs test because while "pushing" minnows in winter time at Blackshear and getting hung up on everystump in the lake it allowed me to pull the hooks straight and kept me from retying as much as Trilene and Stren that I also use. Personally, Trilene XL 6lbs test is what I prefer on my spinning reels. Cheap but strong as any other 6lbs test. I don't know if there is a 4lbs test line I like. I tried several kinds last two years trying to get deeper with less weight while trolling but just couldn't stand retying everytime I "bumped" into something and broke off several good fish. Just my .02.........keep trying.....I am thinking about the flourocarbons next to try but just so dang expensive.......

This spool was 6lbs test and I tried every memory loss trick in the book with no results. I thought about tryin the floro as well but its expensive and I can't ever tie a good knot for it. Thanks for the input!

Ridgerunner, I like berkley vanish and pline I only use 4# and have had good results with both vanishis a flourcarbon and it changes color in sunlight so you can see it and pline is just a tough line. I have a rod with each of them give them a try and I think it will work great. The only thing I can tell you is to wet the line at the knot as not to have a problem with break offs at the knot. Just my 2 cents.D.W.

    Thumbs up Fishing line

I have tried just about all of them and like the pline flurocarbon 6lb. test the best. By far it's the best I have found. JimmyS.

I have used the cajun red before and like it. I've found that it is good to change it often as it seems to get difficult the longer it is left on!
