    Default Sinclair Report on 5/30/2015

Went fishing at Sinclair this morning, right at daybreak, and fished until 11am. I was in my kayak, fishing 4 rods in about 15 - 20 ft of water. The fish I found were suspended at about 8 - 12 ft deep. I caught 10 fish in total. No big fish to really speak of, maybe the biggest going about 1 lb. The crappie definitely preferred a white/blue maribou jig tipped with a minnow, out of all the colors and varieties I was offering.

It was a great day to be on the water.
I won't be at work........I'm feelin' crappie today!

Well thank you very much! I am SOOOO glad to be back posting about catching fish again. I sold my boat a few years ago, and had missed fishing every since. I came across a good deal on a kayak, so I jumped on it. I hope to be posting often!

I appreciate the feedback, I like to give out good information hoping it'll help someone catch fish!

    Thanks again!

I had planned on taking pics back at the dock. However, I asked a man there if he wanted my fish and he was about to pull away so I gave him my fish and forgot to take a pic. Nothing too special on this trip honestly...the biggest one was possibly a pound. I'll try not to forget next time.
