    Sign up/captains meeting is @ Leroy's 5:30-6:30 Saturday morning. Everyone is invited. You do not have to be a member to join the tournament. Weather looks great for some good fall fishing. I hope you will all join us for a little friendly competition on the best crappie lake in Georgia. Rules posted below.

    Tourney fee $75 bucks per BOAT..includes Big Fish contest
    CrappieNutz-Southern Crappie411 rules.
    Interpretation and enforcement of these rules shall be left up to the current officers and or tournament committee.

    TOURNAMENT TIMES ARE EASTERN TIME (Georgia time)

    SIGN IN IS 5:30 TILL 6:30 EASTERN TIME
    `1 All live wells subject to be inspected at pre tournament CAPTAINS meeting .

    2 Participant may start fishing (line in water) anywhere in the permitted fishing waters at 7AM am and may continue until 2PM pm.

    3 Any fishing by a Participant before or after the set times will result in the Participant’s disqualification.
    4 You may enter alone or with the partner of your choice.
    TWO PARTICIPANTS MAX.

    5 SCALES OPEN AT 2:30PM

    6 Anglers must be in WEIGH IN line with fish by 3pm THIS MEANS ANYONE.line will close at 3 pm sharp.

    7 Participants must be present at the time of weigh-in.
    8 A safe and courteous distance should be maintained when trolling motors are in use. Any violation of off limit water will result in disqualification.
    9 Participants are limited to FISHING 8 POLES per boat. no more than 2 BAITS PER POLE.
    10 Live and artificial bait may be used.
    11 Crappie must be hooked and landed with a rod or pole by team member(s). Crappie must be hooked through the lip or in the mouth.
    12 Both members must remain in boat while fishing at all times. no participant may fish from dock, bank, bridge etcc.. Boat only*
    13 Participants must comply with all state fishing and boating regulations, including the use of PFD’s. Fishing and boating licenses are the responsibility of team members.
    14 Participants can weigh in not more than 7 crappie
    15 All crappie brought to the scales for weigh in must have been caught during specified tournament hours within lake boundary
    16 All fish alive at weigh-in DETERMINED BY TOURNAMENT OFFICIAL..
    18 crappienutz - Southern crappie411 Officers are not liable for any loss, damages, or injury occurring before, during, or after tournament times.

    FOR SAFETY REASONS IN CASE OF extreme weather and/or water conditions, crappieNutz/southern Crappie411 reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event.

    no fish fry this time andy. sorry. This is just a tournament. I wish I could turn back the calender and make it like we had years ago. Wouldn't that be great. A tournament, camping and a fish fry. Those were some great weekends.

    Looks like our biggest turnout yet. should be a great day. If all goes right we should have a 3rd place points in crappie usa and a 4th place points finisher in crappiemasters along with some of the best in Georgia/alabama.
