Went to Oconee last night, fished channel ledge in lick creek and ended up with a bunch of dinks. Not one over 8". Dont fish Oconee much so still trying to figure it out!
I went to Oconee a few days ago and wound up with a bunch of hand size crappie ..my best guess is that the water warmed back up fast and put the lid on the activity
Water still warm
even though I don't fish this lake in question I will use a quote from a real wise fisherman, my dad, "specks are moody they turn on and off at certain times of the year because of just about any thing", I have found this to be true you can go one day and fill the cooler, go the next day and because of a slight change in wind, weather, temp., water level, etc. not catch but a handful, you have to just keep going and trying
nothing eats 24 7 . just got to go and hope they are feeding .
retired and now i will always fish
They are still some good ones being caught up there. Had a customer (also a memder on here) send me some pics yesterday of a good mess that he caught using our jigs. The pics are on our facebook page at Roziers custom jigs. Maybe he will post them on here
