Thread: LED Heaven

For some who are having trouble getting the best bond of their LED's to the boat or to whatever here is a good solution...This is what I did for better bonding of my LEd Light Strips I used double sided VHB tape ...following the instructions I simply cleaned the surface and applied the double sided VHB Tape to the underside lip of the boat rolled it down good using the back of a spoon, peeled off the backing and carefully applied the LED light strip to the foam tape only after I had peeled off the double sided 3m backing from the LED light strip the backing that comes on the strip lights cannot compete with the double sided 3m foam VHB tape I used 3m 4622 ..The lights are just as secure as the day I applied them to the VHB double sided foam tape ...This really works .. here is a link 3M 4622 VHB Acrylic Foam Tape, 3M 4622 in Stock - ULINE
