    Default Allatoona Report 1/24

Water level is down again a little over 1.5 feet from this past weekend. 828.36
    http://allatoona.uslakes.info/Level.asp
    Water temp 43-44 degrees
Clarity: Allatoona?? Of course its muddy! ROFL I think the fish here can breath red clay!

After a brutal day of wind from 3 directions at once and white caps on the lake the wind finally got tired in the afternoon and laid down........
It was so bad at one point I started back trolling using the trolling motor just to regulate how fast the wind was blowing the boat across the lake!
Finally located where the fish had scattered to at the base of dropoffs in about 24 ft of water holding about 10-15 feet.

Picked up a few during the afternoon peak 4-5 pm once the wind subsided.

Yeah I think that wind and zig zag warm and cold front that went through had em confused early that morning............
I am planning on being in the water at the butt crack of dawn tomorrow! LOL
