Made it out both days this weekend with mixed results.
Saturday got on the water about 2 and off @5:30. Caught 11 and came home with 7. Water was as high as 54 degrees and fish were caught in 20' of water. The water has come up a lot since last weeks rain. The most interesting thing was i caught fish in water as shallow as 13'. They were small throwbacks but it was suprising to see them that shallow. Color was a mixed bag but most liked a brown/brown w/ green head in the photo.
I've attached a photo of a jig that I am looking for if anyone knows who makes them. I got them from Keith a couple years ago.
Sunday fished from 8 to 1:30 - caught 17 and brought 13 home. Kellogg Creek was packed full of fish and bait but only managed 2 crappie. Color today was bubble gum. Realy nice weekend after the early morning fog burned off.
Diehard, Thankfull, GaJud it won't be long utill it is right. I know we have some more winter to come, but the past 2 warm weekends and the water coming back up has me looking forward to it.
