    that is the size my grand son`s first crappie was . I HAD HEM MOUNTED
    IFTHE WIFE COUGHT ONE I WOULD SURE HAVE TO HAVE HEM MOUNTED OR ELSE

    Thanks for all your nice comments. He is ate up with hunting and fishing like most grown men I know and he is only 5. I feel bad though because I didn't even think about getting it mounted. I will have to get the next one mounted. That one is his second largest. He thought he was just snagged on the bottom.
