    Default New boat

Well all, im back from the longest driving trip ive ever taken. 1280 miles one way to pick up new boat. Its the one ive been wanting for a long time, 1998 Stratos 219F. Arrive in Lincolnton yesterday around 3pm and since it was nice took her to her new home Soap Creek for a short voyage. I threw a rod on the boat just in case Boat ran well, handle very well. Stopped in dry fork creek and made a few cast, 2nd cast good keeper crappie. Let it flop around the boat and put it in the huge livewell (32gal) for a swim. Got back to the ramp and let the crappie go Boy that made the trip worth it Might be selling the "gimme 10" going to hate that Still have to rig it with the rod holders and put some more electronics on it and of course the autopilot. Should be ready in a couple of weeks for trolling.

Congrats on the new boat. I'm sure you will give it a long term test.
Getting a boat is like getting a new toy. You can always find something to add to it.

I guess I missed you last week. My wife and I spent 4 days at Elija Park. We didn't do well. We had 44 keepers for the trip. We did alot of exploring new territory. I kept looking for you but never did see you. What does this boat look like so I might recognize you if we end up in the same creek.

Hey braves sorry i missed you. I would say that 44 is not that bad, some people dont catch that in a year White and green Stratos 219F with 175 Envirude, it will have 14 rod holders in the back and 8 in the front They are getting made as we speak by the Crappie Hole. JT man i cant wait to get it out and really catch some fish, hopefully on Sun if wife says its okay
