Welcome to the boards Scott...and thanks for the report.
Read yalls posts all the time so figured i ought to contribute also. Got out to Ft. Yargo yesterday and whacked em pretty good but not a ton of slabs. Caught them long lining with jigs from micro-spoon . Christmas tree and dirty snow being the hot colors for me. I'm not set up to troll like the pro's so only had out 4 rods with double 1/16 oz. but managed a limit in a few hours. A few around a pound but most just keepers. Water temp was 42 and caught them in 12-20 ft. Not a huge fan of trolling but the action was fast enough to keep my intrest and was much better than the skunk smell the bass have been handing me lately. Tight LInes, Scott

Is this a state park or Army Base? Where is this located? Near what city?
Welcome to the board ultraslab , I've heard of Ft Yargo but can't place it.
Welcome to crappie.com Scott. By the looks of your report yargo was good to you.
I've heard a lot about that lake just never have fished it.
Yes as beagler said it is in Winder on Hwy. 81 just off 316. If any you guys get down this way and like to hook up give me a holler, I'm blessed to fish alot and not hard to talk me into going. Curious if any of you have fished black shoals out of Conyers. They say it's probally the best around for size and numbers of crappie. I've bass fished it a good bit but have'nt targeted the crappies yet. Scott
