I just looked it up and Sinclair had the 2nd lowest winning weight last year the lowest was Lake Weiss and the day we fished Weiss half the field didnt catch a legal fish. The year before Sinclair had the lowest winning weight. Sinclair has had the smallest Big Fish of the season for the last two years. Anybody know why this is? Just doesnt make sense to me.

Maybe it's improving. Last year (last fall thru the spring) was the best I have ever had at Sinclair (for size). I have not fished much there this fall but on the few trips I have may I have felt good about the catch. You do have to sift thru the small ones and find out where the bigger crappie are holding out.

I agree Papa Dawg. Last spring and this fall I have gotten some good fish on Sinclair but no 2 pounders like come off Clarks Hill, Oconee and West Point fairly often.

A 2 pounder at Sincliar is rare. I remember about three years back I caught several 2 lber's in the dead of winter. But it is rare. I have caught none since.

Sure would like to see it go back to a bunch of 2s instead of a very rare 2.

6-7 years. I fish Oconee mostly but I go to Sinclair when Oconee crappie get lock jaw or just for a change of scenery. I fish West Point some and would like to go to Eufaula but just have not got around to it.

I wish we could get more reports from oconee.I have talked to quite a few people this past spring and this fall that fish the lake regularly and they all have said they have seen a decline in quanity and quality for the past 3 to 4 years on crappie.

Is Sinclair so over-populated with crappie that theyre stunted? Seems catching hugh numbers generally isnt a problem, but catching a mess of keeper fish is.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
