Default Slab Masters on the Hill

What a great day to be on the water. I think everyone caught some fish today. We had a pretty good day on the water started out long lining but quickly figured out that that wasnt going to get it for us. Found some good brush in about 14ft and started dropping minnows. First few fish was 1lb+ with a few throw backs here and there. When the sun came up higher the big girls started. Biggest was 1.75, second was 1.63, needed another kicker fish to win. We came in second with 9.52, winners had 9.53 closest tournament for me. Congrats to the winners.

Sounds like an awesome catch Mike and Dereck. Sorry you guys didnt take the prize. And you were sooooo close too.:o I believe everyone caught fish at the get together today too...I just never found the big ones. Anyways, it's always fun at those outings. Glad your tourney went well. Congrats to you guys on such a close second place. Now...go win the next one.

    Thumbs up

Congrats to DI & Solderman for a great showing, it was a hard fought battle and a very close finish. We all enjoy the challenge of figuring those stuborn fish out in the toughest of conditions and you guys skills showed out on Sat. doing just that.
