Where at on Toona? I havn't been in a while because I don't feel comfortable going out by myself when the water is way down. I may have to give it a try soon. Glad to see some one went and done some good. Thanks for the info.
We did great on Allatoona today. We trolled backs of creeks in 5-7 foot of water with green and black jigs (1/32) three feet below a bobber. They are definitely in the backs of the creeks. We had heard they were staging in 12 ft of water but couldn't get a bite. As soon as we switched we started catching.
Tight Lines.

Birddog,
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
I'm taking off Friday to hopefuly get in some fishing.
Any reports form'Toona? Or should I head to Weiss? Rocky Mount PFA?
Any other place I should head to for a more productive day off work and on the water for my 40th B-Day? :D
TIA
I love Allatoona because it's close, but right now I think I would go to Weiss. Between now and mid march Weiss should get red hot. Shollow water warms faster than the deep water at Allatoona I have never fished for crappie at Rocky Mountain, have caught many shellcrackers there.
