I am pretty close to being completely buried at work, it has been a rough couple of months here. I sure hope to make it myself, I sure have enjoyed the ones I have been to! Jackson is at least two hours away, I have to drive from Jackson to Warner Robins everyday and that is 1 hr and 15 minutes, and Blackshear is at least 30 - 40 minutes south of that on 75. But, I am gonna do my best, even if I can't get the boat down there, I want to come visit with everyone. I KNOW I want to catch a fat daddy!! crappie fisher doesn't have a partner. Neither does Astro 154... You just get to us and we will get you a boat. Your experience will help CF or astro. This will be the first tourney for both of them and they are coming single with a boat.

I was looking at the 10 day forcast this morning. It said low of 47 with a High saturday of 65. Partly Cloudy.
Now it says 40% chance of SHOWERS for friday and Saturday. Bring the rain gear but the temp will be High 66.....low 44.. sounds good to me. We all know it is better to fish an approaching front even if you get peppered with a bit of rain, than to fish after it has past. We should (SSS)Slay Some Slabs!!!!

Alright, let me see if I can make it for sure. I would have a lot of work to do before then, even just locating my gear and getting it ready, but it is possible. I haven't really heard too much out of GG honestly. I saw him a couple weeks ago, but that was it.
It's alright, I can't fault you for not knowing....not a problem, I was just hoping it was only an hour drive. That would be much easier!!

Hey all. I've been following the Blackshear tourney thread and its driving me nuts. I won't be able to make it next weekend. I have a prior commitment. I hope ya'll tear em up and eat em up. Wish I could be there. In any case the spawn is just around the corner, and shoot may be very very soon with all this warm weather we are having. At least prespawn. Can't wait to get to those lights again! Take care.

I swore by my first born child I'd be at Blackshear...so I just told her to pack her bags and get out because I'm breakin my word...So I'm the second Valdosta rep to back out. Work trip is in the way. Too bad cause I really need some fishin lessons.
I'm lookin hard at the next one (moved to WF George, huh?). Wish me luck on that one.
Papasage or Crappster, if either of you want to meet up to fish B-shear, send me a message at [email protected]. It's a bit of a drive but I'd love to hit that one once before mid March.:p
