    Default Lake Sinclair Report

I am taking my girlfriend on Saturday to do some crappie fishing. I know VERY little about crappie fishing. Can someone give me a report on the lake after this rain? Also, I am putting in at Little River Park. Should I go up Little River or go up the Oconee River? Should I fish around Goat Island or go up farther? Any advice to help put her on some fish will ber GREATLY appreciated!

    Thanks
    Tony

Have not been there in a while,, But I used to live on the lake and I would think it will be MUDDY or HEAVY stain up Little river,,,Oconee will be very stained and the water will be high almost over the docks.. I would think toward the dam would be a better decision .. Island creek or some of the deeper pockets off the main lake may be a little less stained...

Mabe some one else will chime in with better info.. captin

The lake is very stained, because we have experienced 3 days of frog drowning rain. The water is touching the bottom of or almost over the top of many docks so dock shooting is OUT. I would maybe take her out to dinner or something more productive this weekend. Good luck.

Trolling will still be effective. Just find where the fish are holding and get bright lures with some scent on them down to that depth. Good luck.

Hey Hawk, do you think the lake will be back down by Friday?
It aint how big or how fancy your boat is, it's how many fish you can put in the frying pan!
