If in fact, they were run down, someone has to know something. That's plain murder if they left the scene without trying to save someone.

Yes it was a sad day. Only heard that they had not found the second body or the boat. The boat that found the victim was in the first cove past the apartments where Joe put in some Boo. I don't know any of the circumstances and am not throwing stones but I know that they found at least one life jacket. I'm guilty of not wearing mine. If you are not a strong swimmer, don't know the lake, cold water, stumps, small boat, fishing at nite...... put em on. I've also seen boats and jet skis in the middle of the night on Blackshear with no lights doing doughnuts in the stumps fields near Collins Branch. We pray for the victims and their family. Be careful!

I agree 100%. If they were hit by another boat, that boat would be damaged, I wonder if they've looked for a damaged boat sitting in one of the docks? If the boat driver was aware of hitting something and not going back to offer assistance to the injured, they should be tried for murder plain and simple in my book.

I talked to a Captain with Bibb SO and he said at this time there is no indication that the victim's boat was hit by another boat. He said that they have recovered the victim's trailer from the parking lot and that it was a bass boat and not a john boat. He said that the debris recovered in the lake did not consist of fiberglass or any other boat parts that would indicate a collision. He said that no witnesses have come forward and they are still looking for the second victim.

It truly is a small world. I had a Tyson truck driver in here today delivering chics. After a brief conversation with him I discovered that the missing man is his cousin. The first thing out of his mouth was fishing without a life jacket. I am bad about that and every time that I hear about an accident I think about my D/A riding around without one. Reminder for everyone. buckle up or face the consequences. Have a safe day on the water. The Hook said so !

Divers found the body of the second fisherman this afternoon. I pray they can now find out what caused this terrible tragedy.
