    Red face Boat Carpet Repair

I have a Tracker Pro Crappie 175 with light gray carpet. I have about a 8 inch tear in the floor of the boat. Does anybody know where I can find a 12"x12" piece to repair? I would be willing to pay. Thanks.

I would first try to glue it back down. Patching glue down carpet is not that easy and givin the age or weathering of the carpet a patch will show up especially if the patch carpet is new carpet. ? is it a tear or a hole?

It's a 2000 model and the carpet is torn and worn. Do you know of anything else I can try? Thanks.

I just got through doing a complete overhaul (replaced all the seats/pedastals/hatches/wood/carpet) in my 98' panfish.

Link below is what I used. I have a piece left over big enough for what your need and your welcome to it if the color looks right. I have the "Smoke" color and it matched up pretty well with my 98' panfish.

ykk is right if you care about the looks. you can get indoor/outdoor carpet at any home depot. The hardest part is getting the old off and the old glue. not too hard to do.

Lighten up JimmyS. This was not necessary on your part. Other people post plenty here that should be in the off topic, but you don't call them out for doing it. I am really getting sick and tired of the attitude of a lot of people here on the Georgia forum and thinking they are so much better than everyone else. I guess I will just go away and let you all have this and you can do what you want. Scolding him like a child in public is not proper treatment for a new member. A PM would have been a better choice Jimmy. Putting a smiley face at the end of your post didn't soften the blow in my opinion. Since you found it necessary to call him out in public and maybe embarrass him, I felt it proper to do the same to you. You were wrong Jimmy and took your position as moderator too far. Next time just move the thread to the proper forum and back off the lecture.

I didn't mind reading this post on this board, The off topic boards don't get near as many replies or views. I read this board everyday and enjoy it. Is that not what it is all about?
