    Default Lake Tobosofkee "sticky"


    The lake is owned and operated by Bibb County, Georgia.

    Lake Tobosofkee- Directions

    Lake Tobosofkee is located between Georgia Hwy 74 (Thomaston Rd) and US Hwy 80. About 3 miles due West of Interstate 475.


    Take Exit 5 of I-475 in Bibb county of Macon, Ga. Head WEST.
    You will pass through 1 intersection, which is a traffic light controlled intersection. (Tucker Rd. to the right and Heath Rd. to the left) Continue straight through this intersection.
    you will travel another approximate .5 mile before the next turn.
    Turn left onto Mosley Dixon Rd. Follow this for about 2 miles. You will cross the first bridge of the lake and you will soon see a marina on your left.
    Immediately after the marina, will be the gate entrance to Claystone park of the lake at the top of the hill.

    Alternate entrance to the lake.
    Again, from of I-475 take exit 3. This is US 80 (Eisenhower Pkwy) Head WEST.
    Follow US 80 approximately 4 miles to Columbus Rd on the right. It will the 5th road to the right after leaving the interstate.
    Turn right onto Columbus Rd.
    Follow Columbus Rd approximately 3/4 of a mile.
    The first road you see on the left will be Arrowhead Dr.
    Turn left onto Arrowhead Dr. and follow to the boat ramps at Arrowhead Park.

    BAIT info- For Lake Tobosofkee K.C.'s is located on Thomaston Rd. (see above) about 3/4 of a mile west of I-475. The store is located on the left hand side of the road. Store hours are 07:00 to 10:00 and open Sundays.
    Prices are reasonable, and the staff friendly.

    Camping is also available at both Claystone and Arrowhead parks for a nominal fee.

    Fee's- Lake Tobosofkee charges $3.00 per person AND $3.00 per boat launch.
    The gates are operated from 6:00 a.m until 9 p.m. Sunday thru Saturday.
    If you enter the lake before operating hours, there's no fee. The gates are not locked and entrance/exit is always available.
    I think your supposed to go back and pay when it's open... but I don't know of anyone that does. :-)
