    Default quail hunt in ga

If I wanted to book a quail hunt on a hunting preserve for my Grandson and Grandaughter early next year, who would you recommend? Would prefer not to have to sell my house and car to pay for it. Maybe a half day and meal(optional). They are in the north Atlanta area so the closer to them the better but don't mind driving an hour or so.
I saw Oneil Williams show about a Ga. hunting preserve but I did not get the name and I got the impression I could not afford it. I don't plan to shoot, just go with them and let them have all the fun. Course if someone has dogs and wants to take them in private land that would work and I would be glad to pay for that too.
    Thanks,

Wish I knew a inexpensive place for ya'll to hunt. I miss the good old days, where a man, a dog, and a bob white quail could get together in the wild of GA. Just about got to pay someone to put birds our for you now. Southwest GA is the best bet for wild quail, but there are some really good "plantations" in GA with some wild flying pen raised birds. Hope you find one in your price range and have a great time with the family. I enjoy watching good dog work as much as shooting anything flying. Ofcourse, the fried and smuthered in gravy or bacon wrapped grilled quail make it all that much better.

Call bill ward with high point quail in locust grove. It's slightly south of mcDonough. He's a good buddy of mine and runs a good show. Easy easy to get to and about an hour drive for your folks...not 3 hrs to albany

    Default Bird hunt

The plantations around Albany are very expensive . If budget is a factor Ronnie Singleton in Marion county has a small operation with good birds, good dogs , easy walking no frills . Bring your gun and shells and have a large time. He will modify the hunt to fit your needs. 706-566-2937 Ronnie Singleton.
