Default Gotta Buy Another Trolling Battery

...so is there such thing as a cheap battery that is still a good battery?!? Currently I'm running the Walmart brand Maxx batts (2 hooked in parallel) and one has gone bad. I'm wanting one to replace the one that's shot. Any ideas where to start looking?!?

Its something all the time when it comes to boats! Why dont thing last , anymore? I thought it was cheaper to fish than hunt, but I found out, it ain't! Don't matter what you do anymore, it COST! I am using the walmart batteries now, but from the stories I been Herring about there warranty, I will be looking for a new brain of batteries. When you find a good one let me know.

They say not to replace only one battery. You can get a refurbished battery at Central Ga battery in Milegeville for $30.00. I have been us1 in my little boat for 2 or 3 yrs. and havn't had any problems.

I have been hearing stories about the Maxx brand at Walmart also, but that is what I have used for the past 5 years and have been pretty well pleased. The best thing I like is no matter where you fish, if you have a battery to go bad, there is always a Walmart close by to replace it. For the service I have had with these batteries for the amount of use I get out them, I'll continue to use them....I know there are people that get lucky from time to time and get that 1 battery that lasts longer than it should, but the majority of batteries are going to last just so long....Countryboy hit the nail on the head...Fishing is expensive!!!!

I've been using the Maxx batts for the past 8 years or more. Been good to me but now there's NO WARRANTY and I have a problem paying out @ $90 for a battery without a warranty.:o

The last one I bought was in January and it still had the 18 month free replacement...But if they have went with a No Warranty policy, I am sure I will be changing brands also.
