Thread: Hi Pals

My thanks, to Derick and all the rest that have extended such a warm welcome. Fish'nFolk are just a "reel" special breed, that's for sure. I'm eager to learn all I can 'bout catch'n "spiny rays", 'specially 'em great big ol "slabs" I'm read'n about on this site and it's many great links.
My wife once got me a shirt that said, "The reel might be a little old, but the rod still works"...thnx, again...

Thanks Bob: sure a lot of fine folks welcoming the new guy...makes ya feel pretty good. Even though ya don't even know these folks, ya know they're a lot of good people...they's Fisherpersons.
My wife once got me another shirt, another time, from "The Old Bent Rod Tackle Shop and Saloon" down on the Oregon coast. Had a good say'n on it... said, "Come On In For A Stiff One"...actually the shirts are from a friend of hers that comes out and visits us, from Chicago...thnx, again...Rod
