Thanks all leaving in about 1 hour.
Ha.......all old neighbors.
I first moved to the Gowers Corner area 32+ years ago moved away 6 years ago,and use to hunt hogs behind Crossroads Saw Mill. Also had a long time back, 1,000 acres under the power lines west of there off 52 that I use to hunt on. All that country changed over the years.
Down your way Cook check out the Devils Garden area and Cecil Webb for hogs. It use to be decent at one time and the biggest one I ever killed (283#'s) came out of Avon Park hunt area.
Went over to River Ranch acres a frew weeks back to see a friend of mine and the hogs have the roadway tore up going into the gate with a big one dead, hit by a car.....about 200 #s just up the road
made it safe and sound friday in time to pick-up the grandkids from school.They(6 of them) have kinda mobbed us the last 36 hours, but its still amazing how quick they grow.Haven't even finished unloading!
thread revived from the dead.....decided to move down here!!Been saltwater a few times so far, will do some scouting around and see if anyone on here is near naples so I can cut the learning curve down a little.Been on CDC for a long time with a lot of posts in the Mo. section ,so not just a snowbird newbie trying to get your honey holes.
Going to concentrate on saltwater for now,so if anyone wants to share some tips give me a holler.
This is prime time for crappie in Mo.........everyone likes the spawn but the cold weather can really bunch them up in the winter...going to miss that...sorta
Are you back in the Pasco County area??
Welcome back Cook!
