    Default Talquin report last weekend

Anybody fish talquin this past weekend? The rain kepted us away Saturday. Taking Friday off from work and heading down Thrusday night for hopefully three days of good fishing. They should be in the pads by now!

Pic from our weekend trip two weeks ago. Took the wives with us.

I am heading down real early Friday morning and staying till Sunday. I figure they should be shallow as well, I haven't fished the spawn in this lake before but hopefully I will get on them. I'm staying at LTL hotel room 2B what about you?

We camp-out at Hall's landing. Not sure which creek we will fish yet. We'll hit them all until we find fish. I'll have my golden retriver in the boat with us.

Hope to see you. We hope to catch them in Harvey's creek first. However, they just don;t seem to be there this year for some reason. We caught them in the mouth of the creek in the early stages. Two weeks ago Polk creek was the ticket!

Well I just moved to LAke City for school this year so I am not real familar with any lakes yet but Talquin is my favorite so far. I bought a map for it and I have done pretty good on it so far but that was trolling when they were deep. I figure its going to be diff. this weekend b/c they should have moved shallow by now but hopefully I can put something togethor. I have only fished from Havrvey Creek towards the Damn, never fished down below LTL/ Goat Island so I may have to run down that way this weekend just to see what it looks like down there

Thanks, I will give them a try, This will be my 5-6 trip down there in the last couple months and I have done ok, and I must say this is the closest lake I have found worth a flip and it reminds me so much of the lakes I fish back home in Ms. If any of you guys ever head over to fish in Mississippi let me know ahead of time and I will be glad to repay the favor.

Has anyone checked to see what the weather is going to be like this weekend?
