That is a beautiful scene. I'm sitting here watching it go from rain to freezing rain to sleet to snow and back to rain. It isn't a beautiful day in the neighborhood! The fishing looks like it's picking up. I'm working on the shrimp patterns but, I just can't seem to settle on a style that looks right to me. Decisions seem so much harder to make these days and I can tell it's been too long between tying sessions. Keep those fishing pictures coming.

Enjoyable days on the water aren't measured by numbers nor distance traveled.

I know you boys are LOVING that Florida weather. Last night was the 2nd snow for me since the new year although last nite was only a good dusting. Fishing was good a couple weeks ago here then all those cold days and nights have lowered the water temps and the fish have all but shut down.

Skeetbum, I enjoyed your post. When you see slick waters and a bit of fog you just KNOW it's gonna be a great day! Congrats on the variety of fish caught plus the bonus of the deer sighting.

Those temps have taken a vacation. Supposed to be 38* come morning and I have a new rod that I’m just itching to try so it might not get used tomorrow. But then again…….

22 here in the morning, a new rod also, and an old fishing buddy called and wanted to shoot some docks in the morning. Going to wait until 8 to hit the water. I look forward to hearing how you like your new rod
