    Default Harris Chain


    I'm in from Arizona and visiting my parents in Ocala and have the possibility of wetting a line on Monday or Tuesday. My sister's boyfriend has a boat and is willing to take me out and suggested the Harris Chain. Is that a god place to go and is anyone willing to share some general areas. If there is better lake in the general Ocala/Summerfield area that would work also. I assume we'll be casting jigs since he is primarily a bass fisherman. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated and paid forward if y'all need any advice for AZ.

    There is lots of em in the Harris Chain. Just some testy lil buggers they are. Slab or Shu should see this and lend some advice.

    Lake griffin is supposed to be good now but i'm not much help haven't been well and only had my boat out Wednesday and Friday so far this year, was skunked each time. If water temp makes it to 65 degrees they should be in the shallow water.--shu

    checked water temp in Harris at 5pm=68.6 which is near the warmth for spawning to start. should make for some good fishing.--shu
