Hello and welcome. Not many places to catch Crappie from the shore. You can try at Saddle Creek Park in Lakeland, or Teneroc in Lakeland. Other than that there are some canals in South Florida where they are caught from shore. Don't know your area but may be some places closer to you.

I have been vacationing in Dunnellon the past few years and we have been staying on the Withlacoochee River. We have caught a lot of small fish(bluegill, stumpknockers & war mouth) around docks & fallen trees. I have fished both the east & west side of the river, this past year we stayed closer to Lake Rousseau. It was my first time there & we went by boat, we did not catch much in the lake but it was very hot(end of June). I have heard good things for speck fishin in the lake but I have not had any luck there myself. There are some docks/fishing area's on the lake near the dam that have bank access but have not personally fished it. We did catch some bass near the Goldendale boat ramp.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
