    Cool Advise on Fish Finder/GPS

Hey Guys can I have some opinions on Fish finder/GPS for under $300. Really don't know much about them but it seems a lot of folks like the Helix models
    Thanks

I went with a lowrance elite 5 ti, and really like it so far, but it's in the $500 range. The touch screen and side imaging is awesome. Found a sunken jon boat on Sunday with it.

You have numerous replies on your original post in archive thread. Maybe Flycaster can merge them. I dont have the moderating ability to move to general forum.
