Default Made it to Talquin finally.

I sitting here at Luther Hall's landing with a campfire and an adult beverage. Doesn't get much better.
Maybe I'll find some specs tomorrow and it will be a perfect trip.
Oh yeah my daughter is joining me in the morning.
    Big smile!

We fished from 730 till 1730 today. Caught a ton of fish early. Rain came down. After rain stopped so did the fish. Fished in the mouth of hammock and boy. Lots of tater chips. 14-16 was the magic number for me
The only "easy" day, was yesterday!

Was there all last week. Had to move a lot to find big fish. Caught tons of small ones. they seem to move throughout the day. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I fished the 14 - 18 ft. range around the corner from Hall's landing, and got into fish right away. Bunch of little ones. It ended up with a nice mess of good fish. My daughter caught her personal best Crappie just over 15 in. Only one we caught after the sun came out.

Plan on being back down all next week. With this weather, they should be on fire right now!
