Last day, last mess for us down here. Thought we were gonna slay them this morning as we had 7 in the box before the sun got up past the trees. The bite pretty much stopped once the sun got high though.
We had a great time and the nicest weather since I've been coming down in the winter. We didn't catch any more real big fish but we did get into some good numbers. We're having a fish fry this evening then we'll be flying home early in the morning.

I may be there next week. Care to share how you caught them? Method, depth, etc?

    Thanks

We were mostly trolling; just cast small jigs behind the boat and pull them around at about 1 mph. We caught fish in 5 up to 15 feet of water. We also saw a lot of folks catching them with minnows. Good luck!

Glad you enjoyed your time on the water with some nice fish. I hope to be there next week to pick up where you left off. Have a safe trip back home!
