    Got my daughter out on the lake this morning. Sure was nice to have her as a fishing partner. Was just a few hours but she got about 5 and a couple of those "was good uns"
    Yes I was once again outfished by a girl, but the trip was for them not me. Will post pictures when we get home.

    I have no problem being outfished by most any of my guests. It's a ball giving them the skinny and seeing it all come together, and their reaction. Good Job CD! You'll both enjoy these memories one day.

    It was great to spend the few hours on the lake with her today, She is here till Monday but with her needing to meet all of my family we will not have time to hit the lake again. 17 years and you would think I have been by her side for all of them. God has blessed me for sure!

    Thanks all, Yes it was the best day ever for a dad, Last time a daughter went fishing with me was my other daughter when she was 3, We were on the lake at about 730 and she caught her first fish at 745, a 3 pound bass, got it to the boat, as I was putting it on the stringer she grabbed her blanket and layed down on the bottom of the boat, When I asked her what she was doing she said "I caught my fish I am done" She never wanted to go fishing again. LOL Guess she thought she was only allowed 1 fish for her lifetime.
