There is one in particular, I would like to suggest a "caption" contest of sorts...no prize, just show your creativity. I'll start w/2...c'mon Howard is this really the shortest way back to the slabfest? 2- Seriously, Howard, all new members are required an initiation gesture. C'mon Skeet, let's here one...

First of all, the only picture I took was of the beautiful Lake Harney sunrise this morning. I spent some time taking some videos of todays action but it's just taking too long to load up on youtube, so I'll try and get at least one of those posted after I get home.
Thanks to 65Pontiac for letting me bum a ride with him today and for his hospitality for letting me camp out at his place for a few nights. Russ is a great guy and an even better friend and fisherman. I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones today.
The fishing was great for us. We got so busy catching fish that we forgot, or didn't have time to, click the counter. I'm guessing we caught around 45-50 fish. It started out slow but around 9:30, it was ON!!! We left 'em biting!!! After getting 5 pretty good fish we were throwing back 1.25lbs and some better fish than that. We ended up culling our 4 out of 5 of our original weigh in fish.
Jeff did a great job of putting this event together and I'm glad I finally seen the hat Flycaster has been drawing names out of As always, I had a blast being around the best group of Crappie.com people I have ever been associated with. You guys need to pat yourselves on the back for maintaining a great group of folks and putting on great events. I look forward to the next event that I can come back to...If Speckanator will allow us Northerners to attend
Hats off to everyone that contributed.
    Thx again for everyone's hospitality!!!

Inexpensive ride to dock, NO GAS consumption, no wear and tear on the trolling batteries.
Glad that you made it back safe and sound.

I know from experience, that it is great to have friends at the dock. I had to call 65pontiac (Russ) once on Lake Dora, weak batteries, trolling and main cranking. THANKS AGAIN Russ.

That's one way to bump up the fuel mileage.

It seems everyone had a really good time, and caught lots of fish. I do have to agree with the many comments on the group of folks that I rub elbows with at any CDC event here in FL. I have been welcomed into the group with open arms, even after they got to know me!! Great job Jeff, looks like you did it right again. ATTABOY!!!!
