Default A mostly Brim day on a Birthday...

Finally went fishing somewhere other than the dead sea. And I found out the dead sea ain't that bad! doh

Went out fishing with the boys on another lake other than Griffin, and didn't find Crappie, but got into some good Brim. Believe it or not, they hit my crank baits (Arkie 220's). And they hit hard, I thought for sure a couple of them were Gar at first because of the smack they put down! Wow, that was fun!

    Who is that masked man!

Flycaster and Pontiac did manage to catch a Crappie each (nice ones too), but all Speckanator and myself caught were Gar and Brim. It did keep us entertained. Thanks for the trip Mike.

The above is a pic of a fish, and I'm just in the background photo bombing it! See, that's why the fish looks so big! Good looking fish, eh. Maybe me, not so much! You'd rather see the fish anyway. doh

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

I went yesterday. Caught 2 keeper brim and 3 throwbacks. Trolling motor rope broke at 9:15. Gave me a reason to get out of the heat. It has been stifling around here.

Bruce, had 2 in the boat. Got em from your friend Ken. Could not get in position to see the knot because of the glare and sun. Was already hot anyway. Fixed it in 5 minutes in my shop. "D"
