With no cold weather to speak of this year the brown algae is pretty bad from what I hear. But eco tours are complaining now so maybe if tourism $$$$ decline maybe a politician will understand. Dont know the answer. Many say a temporary inlet mid lagoon, some say a real bridge for the railroad instead of a small opening mid chanel. Dont know but nothing seems a quick fix anymore.

Seeing more 5-gal reports from Edgewater ..........

Went to HC last night, was throwing out light/weight and fell my butt right over into the canal ....
Good thing I had life preserver, right where it was supposed to be = in the locker right beside
    the fire extinguisher .....
Being the ole pro that I am, decided to just lift myself up and back into the boat = not happening
with this big ole belly ....
Did manage to throw my leg over the side and roll into the boat = tx God for my low sides ...
Kinda ruined my night, wasn't really freaking, but was indeed embarrassed telling these other boaters
that I was OK after they were asking if I was etc, etc ...........
    Packed it up and came home .... = no skrimps ! ! ! ! !

Well glad ya got back in for sure. Soaking wet is a good reason to call it a night. Summer not so bad but still a tad cool out to be wet right now.
