    Default Florida trip

I am coming to Florida to Night fish with a friend that lives there. It will be in Jan or Feb. When would be the best time? And does the moon phase matter there for night fishing. We will be fishing Okeechobee. I would greatly appreciate it if any one can help me pick the best week to come. Thanks in advance for your help.

Is Jimbo Bryant still building crappie boats at Bryants camp on Herrington?

For night time fishen, try to fish as close to the full moon. We like to fish the week of the full moon. For day time fishing, try to find some hydrilla grass and use minnows or jigs. Good luck

Night fishing under lights ALWAYS work best on the dark nights.

Night fish Okeechobee - you will have no problem finding them if you are on
North end up at City of Okeechobbee - just go down to where Kissimmee river
comes into lake.................Pontoon boats at night will be lined up river from
from Bridge north for every bit of 3/4 - 1 mi both sides.............each boat equipped
with min 30 rod holders....................Will look like small city under lights.

Bring some warm clothes, even in south Florida we can have some cold temps during that time of year.
    Especially at night!
