    Default St. Johns water levels

Saw this article online about the river levels St. Johns River near overflow, due to heavy rains - The West Volusia Beacon

With all this rain & with it in the future for the next week or so, do you think any waterways will be shut down? I know the year we had TS Fay, they closed most of the river from Harney to Astor. Most of the gator hunters that I know are startin to stress about fillin their tags.

Hopefully this won't affect the fishin too bad either

water level on Monroe today, clearance under I-4 was 44.5 feet.
That is up 6 inches from last week when I was there.
caught 10, threw 5 back, at or under 10 inches.

If they do it will be a short paddle from the Enterprise ramp to the fish in me kayak to do some stealth spiderrigging! But it will take a lot more water. That year Monroe was over the sea wall on 17-92 and close to the road. Got about 4-5 more feet to get there, and about 2,5 more feet to the top of wall last I looked.

I hope your right, I thought we were gonna get more rain this week but I guess the 7.5 inches we got on Monday was enough

Just hope they don't get too much more down south (Melbourne) cuz all that water will come this way up river
