    What is your preference painted jig heads or non painted just asking

    I use em all, but here lately I've been using non painted. Seems to work just as good. Glad you ask the question. Hopefully you'll get some good input.

    I like orange, pink, red and chartreuse! I have been using all non painted since November and limited every time on the water. I think the color mostly catches fisherman on the smaller jigs. I have not fished eyes on my jig heads in over 5 years.

    It's always a guessing game. However, I have found-out that stumps have NO preference!

    I beg to differ. Stumps always prefer the most expensive lure in the spread. Lol

    Here on Truman I always use orange head and chartuse heads, and catch lots of crappie on the jig head only, but on the same hand my brother n law fishes right behind me with non painted and stays right with me....... matter of choice??????
