Good Luck Gary, I am going to try and hit up Monroe in the A.M. if the wind ain't a howling.
Well with this front moved through and cooler temps we are hoping to get into a few tomorrow back at Blue Cypress .
We just keep going every week or so to hopfully get em when they start to bite , and maybe tomorrows the day .
The wind has be terrible the last week or so we tried a few local canals but got blew off of them so now back to the bigger lake...
But you cant catch them if you dont go

Looks like both of you should have a nice day for a change, light winds, and hopefully tight lines. Good luck to you, I will be thinking about you two wile I am at work!!
Man, garyv, I envy your being back on that pretty body of water. I understand that folks drift fishing are doing well at Blue Cypress these days, and I hope that includes you. Ray
Proud to be an AMERICAN fisherman!
Well Thursday we only got 6 and a few nice catfish , so we said we needed to change what we are doing and where so we went saturday as well..
just 3 yesterday and it was getting hot too.water was in the 70s on top and the last few times there everyone we talked to was only getting a few here and there..
I guess the warmer weather has sent them scattering all over . we just could not find any consintrations of fish at all..
Well Huntinslabs I hope you did better on Monroe the other day..
Gary
Don't want to hijack this thread but where would the closest accommodations be to Blue Cypress?
Thanks.
Swampfox,
the baitshop MIDDLETONS is right on the lake and they have 3 cabins or trailers right on the water so you can keep your boat in the water . But shopping is 25 miles East in Vero so take what you need ..
Gary
